Rosary Service Underway at Vatican

A crowd of several tens of thousands of pilgrims are currently gathered in la Piazza di San Pietro beneath the Pope's bedroom window for an evening rosary service. And as mentioned in a previous post, if you have RealPlayer, you can watch the live streaming video of the events (complete with Italian audio).

I'm not surprised at the overwhelming response the Pope has received. This blog is the only one of it's kind. This blog has also received quite an overwhelming response.

God Bless the Church and the Faithful!

The service has now ended, with the crowd breaking out into applause at its conclusion.

The Pope has now passed to be with the Lord!

While the service has ended (the singers and many of the others who had gathered on the steps of the Basilica are gone), one priest is now leading the crowd in prayers. Several Hail Marys were just prayed. And the crowd again is breaking into applause as I write.

He was just a man. Not a God. He will be missed , but will be replaced
