Is he dead then??

Even if he's not dead, the damage to his intestines has reached such an extent that he's beyond the possibility of a recovery.

He's comatose and will probably never reach conciousness again.

In other words: He is dying!

While the Vatican has made no such declaration that the Pope is dead, they certainly are acknowledging that death is now imminent.

I just heard on the news that his heart has stopped according to the Italian news just recently.

CNN is reporting that italian media has confirmed but there has been no word from the vatican yet. It looks like it is real. He was the most traveled pope in history and did alot for the world, especially children. Yes, indeed, it is a sad day.
